Job Summary:
Under limited supervision by the Manager, Pharmacovigilance, this position interprets and inputs adverse event data into a regulated data collection database, such as PV Works. Additionally, this position reviews and resolves data collection issues with Professional Service Veterinarians to ensure accurate and complete information. This position has the responsibility of prioritizing AE case entry per the individual details of each case and company reporting requirements. This position also assists with the development, implementation and use of systems and tools related to Pharmacovigilance, such as PV Works. Provides general administrative support to the Pharmacovigilance department as required. Failure to perform job responsibilities carries considerable risk to the company, including regulatory
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Requirement:
Associate degree or 3 years related experience or Minimum five years of administrative support experience.
Skilled in using Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access.
Basic knowledge of medical/veterinary terminology, disease conditions/health problems, adverse event knowledge, and domestic governmental regulation of animal health products desired.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing and processing of Biological and Pharmaceuticals preferred.
