Candidates working towards a college degree in marketing, management, or communications are preferred or equivalent industry experience but Fastenal will provide training for the best-qualified candidate. Must have a strong interest in a sales career and have the ability to relocate for future opportunities. Fastenal's culture is promotion from within so it is imperative that our part-time employees have the desire to advance. 

Fastenal Company is a service-based company. In other words; no two days are the same! As an employee, you will be challenged with new and diverse job responsibilities. The primary function of the position is to support the sales team and the store in reaching sales and organizational goals. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
o Inside and Outside Sales/Customer Service/Telemarketing 
o Quoting/Order placement and fulfillment 
o Inventory management 
o Receiving and shipping of inventory 
o Local sales calls and deliveries with company vehicle 

Successful candidates must: 
o Possess a valid drivers license and have a good driving record 
o Have a flexible schedule to work 3-5 days/week, 6 hrs max, 20 hrs total (weekdays only) 
o Have strong attention to detail and ability to work independently 
o Must be at least 18 years of age and possess the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
